It Just Had to Happen… Company Logos (Ads) on Google Maps

Google Australia have just launched a test phase in which they are showing company logos as map points on a Google Map search. The logic behind this is that when a map comes up in search then people will recognize the logo and find an easy way to navigate to that selected location

NEW! Drag ‘n Zoom on Google Maps

Google has now made it easier to zoom into a preferred area on Google Maps using what they call Drag ‘n Zoom. Prior to this it was a matter of drag and trail and error.

You know we really do live in the back of beyond in South Africa when it comes to harnessing the real benefits of the internet and especially when it comes to ecommerce.
